What We Collect

When you use Gear Goal without logging in (guest mode), we store your gear data, presets, wishlist, and preferences in your browser's local storage. No data is sent to any server.

When you log in with Discord, we collect:

• Your Discord username and avatar (for display purposes)
• Your Discord user ID (to identify your account)
• Your gear data, presets, and wishlist (synced to our database)

How We Use It

Your data is used solely to provide the Gear Goal service:

• Display your owned items and progress across bosses
• Sync your data across devices when logged in
• Show your Discord avatar in the navigation

We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and local storage for:

• Authentication: Session cookies to keep you logged in via Discord
• Preferences: Your budget, cookie consent choice
• Gear data: Your owned items, presets, and wishlist (cached locally for performance)

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics, or third-party advertising cookies.

Third-Party Services

• Discord: Provides OAuth login
• OSRS Wiki: Item images and Grand Exchange prices (no user data shared)

Data Deletion

You can clear your local data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage. To delete your cloud data, log in and contact us. We will delete all associated data from our database.
