How To Use Gear Goal

Everything you need to know to track your gear and plan upgrades.

Getting Started

Head to the Gear Bank and mark all the gear you currently own by clicking on items.

Items you own will glow green with a checkmark.

Your total bank value updates automatically using live Grand Exchange prices.

No account needed to start - everything saves to your browser. Login with Discord to sync across devices.

Go to Bosses and select an activity (e.g., Tombs of Amascut).

Choose a tier at the top - each tier has different gear requirements based on difficulty.

Switch between Overall, Melee, Ranged, and Mage tabs to see each setup.

Overall shows the full loadout: equipment, inventory, and rune pouch.

Style tabs show just the equipment for that combat style, plus spec weapons.

Left-click an alternative item (right panel) to swap it into the main equipment slot.

Right-click any equipment slot, inventory item, or rune to open a menu and pick a different item.

Right-click menus also have a Wiki button to open the item's OSRS Wiki page.

When you've made changes, Save as Preset to keep your custom setup.

Click Reset to Default to go back to the recommended loadout.

The Wishlist is your gear shopping list - items you want to buy.

Add items from the View All Upgrades modal on any boss page by selecting items and clicking "Add to Wishlist".

In the Gear Bank, right-click any item and choose "Add to Wishlist".

Wishlisted items show up with a gold glow in the Gear Bank so you can spot them.

On the Wishlist page, set priority (1-5 dots) to rank what to buy first.

Click Got it when you've purchased an item to mark it as owned.

Click your avatar (or the Discord login button) and go to Settings to set your GP budget.

Use Quick Set buttons for common amounts (10M, 50M, 100M, etc.).

The Recommended Next Purchase on boss pages respects your budget.

View All Upgrades shows every item you're missing, ranked by importance.

Items over budget are dimmed and marked in red.

"NO COVERAGE" means you don't own any item for that slot - these are prioritized.

Click Login in the top-right to sign in with your Discord account.

Once logged in, your owned items, presets, and wishlist sync to the cloud.

Access your data from any device - just login with the same Discord account.

If you had local data before logging in, it automatically migrates to your account.

Guest mode (no login) works perfectly fine - data saves to your browser's local storage.

■Right-click is your best friend - it works on equipment, inventory, runes, and bank items.
■The Gear Bank search bar filters items across all categories as you type.
■Presets save your customized boss setups so you always know what to bring.
■Set a budget in Settings to get upgrade recommendations you can actually afford.
